I think that many of you have heard the saying, "It has to get worse before it gets better." This is particularly true when building a home. The lot looks beautiful and ready for a house and then when you start building the first thing to do is tear up everything. Our home will be small at first. We plan to build in phases. The first phase is 24 ft by 36 ft with two bedrooms on the second floor, the living room and kitchen on the first floor. Simple, small and hopefully fairly quick to build. Jim has left his job in WA and is finally home in Juneau and working hard on this project.
This is so awesome!!! I have always wanted to build a home...so I am going to follow and watch as you do. The land looks so beautiful!
